House On Metolius, Camp Sherman, Oregon Wedding
The moment I stepped out of my car I heard the breeze whispering through the tall evergreens I knew House on Metolius was my kind of place. As I walked across the grass to meet with the event coordinator, Penny (who is extremely sweet and so helpful) I came across some wooden adirondack chairs on the grass in the shade and all I wanted to do was get a lemonade, sit there all afternoon, and enjoy the views! The expansive property immediately puts you at ease. It has so much to offer from the gorgeous views of both Mt. Jefferson and Three Finger Jack, the incredibly clear waters of the Metolius River running through the property, the fantastic 1960's style lodge with a large lawn and stone patio overlooking the river, to the open grassy fields surrounded by tall pine trees. It is all beautiful and very private, the perfect setting for a wedding.
So, if you are planning an outdoor wedding and looking for a private, natural setting where you can enjoy the river, mountains and maybe even some deer then this could be the place for you!
