Colorful Moscow, Idaho Canola Field Engagement
- Neil and Sarah -
Often times when I first meet up with a couple or in talking to them before their session they mention something like, “We are so awkward” or “I am not photogenic.” Neil definitely said things like that and more… about himself. However, just because you aren’t a professional model and totally comfortable in front of the camera DOES NOT mean you are not photogenic. I believe the key to creating images that people love and relate to is exactly that… about the people and how they relate. It’s about being comfortable and having fun and not trying to be something you aren’t. It’s ok to be silly and playful if that’s the type of person you are! It’s also ok to be sweet with the person you love. Putting together a shoot that combines your personalities and your relationship… that is when things are special, meaningful, and in my mind perfect.
Hi, I’m Josselyn. I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Spokane, Washington.
I love getting to photograph people in the places they love with the people they love, whether that is in their homes for a newborn session, an engagement session on a rooftop in the city, or a wedding on a ranch in Montana. The people are what make the images, not the setting.
Your experience is what will make a nice photo into an image that you will love for years and years. Making my clients feel comfortable and making the session as easy as possible so we can capture real emotions and moments is so important and helps me create both beautiful, classic portraits as well as those sweet in-between candids.
I would love to talk about what your wedding plans! Find out more info and inquire about your wedding date with the link below.
